Water is flowing too fast through my AeroPress metal filter.Updated a year ago
The metal filter is more porous, so it will have a somewhat larger flow rate than our paper filter.
If you are an experienced AeroPress user, we recommend using a slightly finer grind than what you would normally use with a paper filter. Also, be sure to shake to level the bed of coffee grounds and to pour your water slowly. These three things will help to slow your rate of drip-through.
Alternatively, you can switch to using the inverted method.
